A New Design Philosophy Drives the BMW Series 3’s Exterior
BMW incorporates a fresh design approach, including clear shapes, poetic surfaces, and dynamics that flow into a modern presence. Being a leader in sedan design for decades, BMW reestablishes itself again with the new X3.
Each design package features exterior accents that set each trim apart on the road. Base model brightens the road with 18” light alloy wheels, black high-gloss air intakes and rear bumper, body colour external mirrors, and much more. The M340i xDrive upgrades to 19” alloy wheels, LED fog lights, Cerium Grey metallic tailpipe rims, and M Sport upgrades. The M Sport package adds aerodynamics accents, 19” M Sport wheels, chrome tailpipe, and more.
Power Increases Across All Trims in the 2020 BMW Series 3
The 3 Series keeps its efficient turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which makes 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. For those who want more power, the M340i is the way to go. With a more powerful turbocharged six-cylinder engine that generates 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, this machine is getting closer and closer to the ultimate 3 Series track toy, the M3.
Both engines use an eight-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles standard on the M340i model for a more dynamic experience. This transmission feeds BMW’s state-of-the-art xDrive AWD system.
The interior of every new 3 series model reinvents the spirit of the line. With aluminum door sill finishers, Sport seats in Black Leatherette, a Sport leather steering wheel, and interior trim finishers in black high-gloss, the Sport Line is ready to impress.
The M340i xDrive features Sport seats for both driver and front passenger in leather ‘Vernasca’ Black, M Leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, and instrument cluster with M340i-specific display. The M Sport includes numerous M-style appointments, as well as interior trim finishers in Aluminum Tetragon.
